| Audit log | A record of administrator actions in the admin console. |
| Boost | A slider that raises or lowers volume in each ear independently while keeping speech clear. |
| Comfort | A slider for finding a comfortable listening level before detailed tuning. |
| Consonants | A slider that improves how clearly mid-range consonants such as t and k are heard. |
| Floating license | A license that counts simultaneous use, not installations. |
| Force Release | An administrator action that returns a seat to the pool immediately. |
| Fullness | A slider that moves the sound between more compressed and more open. |
| Hands-Free | A separate audio mode that many Bluetooth headsets use during calls. |
| License file | The .lic file issued by SonicCloud. |
| Playback device | The output you listen on, such as headphones or speakers. |
| Processing | SonicCloud applying your profile to the audio you hear. |
| Profile | A saved set of sound settings. |
| Richness | A slider that adds warmth and breadth when raised. |
| Seat | One person using SonicCloud at the same time. |
| Sharpness | A slider that increases clarity of speech, such as the sounds s and f. |
| Tuning Wizard | The guided session that builds a profile from your answers and choices. |
| Vowels | A slider that improves how clearly vowels such as a, e and o are heard. |
