Practical ways to use SonicCloud for calls, video and music.
Once you have a profile you like, SonicCloud works in the background. These tips help you get the most from it.
Calls and meetings
- Join a call after you have chosen a profile, and check that the Processing light is green.
- Wired headphones give the most dependable results in calls. See Bluetooth headphones if you use a wireless headset.
- If voices sound thin or sharp, adjust Richness and Sharpness a little and save.
Video and television
- If dialogue is hard to follow, raise Consonants and Vowels slightly.
- Keep a separate profile for video if it sounds different from your call profile.
Music
- Use Fullness to open up or tighten the sound.
- Use Comfort to keep listening pleasant over long sessions.
Keep a profile for each situation
Save a profile for each way you listen, and name it clearly. Switching takes one click in the profile selector. See Profiles.
Revisit your tuning
Your needs can change. Rerun the Tuning Wizard whenever you want a fresh starting point.
