Activate a license
Enter your license key, check its status and change it.
This page covers the offline edition. If your organization uses online accounts, see Create accounts.
If your organization gave you a license key, enter it in SonicCloud to activate.
Activate
Open the activation window
Open SonicCloud. If it asks for a license, or shows Enter License Key, select it. The Activate License window opens.
Enter your key
Type or paste your License Key.
Activate
Select Activate. SonicCloud confirms the license and you can start using it.
If you are unsure where to find your key, contact your administrator or SonicCloud support.
Check your license
Right-click the SonicCloud icon in the notification area and choose License Info. It shows:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Organization | The organization the license was issued to. |
| Expiration Date | When the license ends. |
| Extension Code | A code tied to your license. Support may ask you for it. |
Select Validate to check the license again.
License settings
The license settings window shows the Status, Product and License Key for this installation. Select Change License Key to enter a different key.
If SonicCloud says the license has expired
SonicCloud shows License Expired and asks you to contact your administrator. Your administrator renews the license centrally, and no reinstall is needed. See Renewal.
