Answers to common questions about the Tuning Wizard.
Less than five minutes for most people.
No. You can answer "No" when asked about hearing loss and the wizard carries on.
Wired audio responds instantly. Wireless audio adds a small delay that can affect how adjustments sound, especially when your ears hear differently.
A short listen is rarely enough to judge a sound. Ten seconds per profile gives you time to compare fairly.
Yes. Use Back to return to an earlier screen and choose again.
The message beneath it explains what is missing, such as answering all the questions, listening to both profiles for 10 seconds, or saving a profile.
Play the test audio first. Sliders in the fine-tuning steps respond only while audio is playing.
No. It adds new profiles. You decide the names, and you can delete ones you do not want.
Create a separate profile for each way you listen. See Hearing aids and cochlear implants.
