Hearing aids and cochlear implants
Create separate profiles for each way you listen.
If you use a hearing aid or a cochlear implant, you can still use SonicCloud. The Tuning Wizard recommends creating a separate profile for each way you listen, because the same sound can need different settings in each case.
Hearing aids
Create profiles for each way you listen:
- Unaided. Listening through headphones or earbuds on their own.
- Aided. Listening through your hearing aid.
Cochlear implants
Create profiles for the way you listen with your device, such as through device speakers or cochlear implant Bluetooth.
How to set them up
Run the Tuning Wizard while set up for the first way you listen, and save the profile with a clear name, for example the way you were listening.
Switch to the next way you listen and run the wizard again, then save that profile with its own name.
Choose the matching profile from the profile selector whenever you change how you listen.
